Wordless Wednesday: Daylan and the NICU

I know that normally there are no words but I have to explain the importance of this picture.  This is my son two days after he was born.  He spent a week in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).  A nurse took this picture when they were discharging me (but not him) and I laid next to this picture and cried everyday he wasn't next to me.

So I was going to attempt to keep it wordless and just stick to this one picture but there were so many great animals at my son's 1st birthday that I figure I will share them all with you. I am not really your standard mom so I figured if I had animals they had to be exotic no farm animals at this party (but there is noting wrong with a petting zoo I just love exotics).
