Single Moms in the Military

I know that I have written on this before but this is something that just hits close to home for me because this has been my life for the last two years. I have been a single mom in the military for two years and the anxiety of going to a new place and trying to find child care and group of people that understand what I am going through is like finding a needle in a haystack.

So many of us single mothers in the military need your support desperately we need child care and resources that so many married members and military spouses overlook. We are an underrepresented and unappreciated group of women. We love our country but we need are country and services to show us some of that love back.

I am standing up and saying we are here we aren't going any where and we need you. We need sitters that are willing to help on a moment's notice that can offer overnight care when we have duty. We need support at our units where we have some like us to talk to. The thing is we need this support everywhere in the states and overseas because us single military moms are serving all over the world.

I beg all of my reader to please take notice and pass this on to get those talks start to make people aware that we are here and we are asking for your help.

Moms in the Military

As an active duty member of the United States Coast Guard and a full time mom and student. I must say that I am a little put off by the fact that there are not more websites dedicated to moms that serve in the military. There are tons of resources for spouses but not all women stay at home and tend to the kids while their husbands go out and protect the country there are women that go out the door everyday to do the same thing and have to come home and be mommy too.
