Not Your Conventional Mommy

So after scouring the web looking at other moms blogs and just parenting sites in general I have to say they are all about the same with this image of the perfect parents and all the great things you need to do to for you, your husband and your kids but I am sorry to tell you I am not your conventional mom...



You can think poorly of me for saying this but if I had to be a stay at home mom I think I would have killed myself by now. Don't get me wrong I love my son but if I had to spend my every waking moment with that little boy I would be psychotic. If I have to hear about another ouchie that happened a week ago I am going to go hide in the closet ( because I know your to little to figure out where I am at).

And yes I am a smoker I like to smoke and I am not actively working on quiting. I don't however smoke in my house but I do step out from time to time to smoke in the garage. Daylan know these as mommy's breaks. He even know when I need one.

Its really funny to me thought that all these picture perfect families don't just keep it real. My parenting tip is do what works for you and tell everyone else to keep there opinions to themselves. And the next time someone tells you how to raise your kid tell them here you take them and raise them because I need a break!

Oh yeah and another thing if I have to watch another Thomas the Train, Elmo, Backyardigans, Yo Gabba Gabba episode I am going to run away.
