Cool Gear International Review and Giveaway

I often think that it must be fate when certain things end up on my door step at just the right time. Your probably thinking no that is just the U.S. Postal Service but hear me out. I recently wrote a post called “I Just had a Baby (doesn’t work 3yrs later)” where I talk about my journey from using the excuse of having a baby as to why I am out of shape to deciding to take my health and my body back and really step it up this time with no excuses.

Well as fate or the U.S. Postal Service would have it Cool Gear International sent me a 20oz Aluminum Water Bottle with a stylish design called Purple Filigree. Okay so now you’re thinking what does that have to do with you working out and getting back in shape.

Well I haven’t been in the gym in so long and this stylish water bottle actually gave me some confidence, okay that’s kind of sad but it’s true. I was thinking to myself I might be out of shape but I sure will look cute with this water bottle while I am jogging on the treadmill.

www.KathyLight.com

There are times in all of our lives that we need a little more of a push to remember how great we truly are. Many things can lead you down a road to self doubt; losing a job, a break up, added pressures at home or work just about anything can make you doubt your greatness but don’t believe the self doubt because Kathy Light has created Reasons Why YOU ROCK! Realize Your Greatness and Amplify Your Personal Power inspired by her 7 year old daughter.

For me personally I have had my doubts about my own greatness while going through my divorce. No matter who is at fault in a divorce it still leaves you feeling a little less great. I went through a range of emotions and a feeling like I as a major failure because I couldn’t make my marriage work.

Reasons Why You Rock by Kathy Light arrived in my mailbox the month after my divorce was finalized and has been a true gift from God. I am finally getting my life back and getting back on track and realizing why I truly do ROCK! Now I always knew I rocked but sometimes it gets a little over shadowed by the doubt that is why this book is so awesome.

Recognizing the greatness within you is the foundation for a truly happy, fulfilling and successful life. In Reasons Why YOU ROCK! Mabel’s Labels Review and Giveaway

Anyone that has known the emotions of losing a child in a store like I talk about in The Scariest Night of My Life: The Night Daylan Went Missing or even if you don’t know the feeling but never want to have your young child missing with no way of them being able to identify themselves and some link back to you there is a great product created by Mabel’s Labels a Canadian Based company. They make a product which they sent out to me called My 411 Wristbands. These wristbands can contain any information that you would like about you and your child just in case they get lost or go missing in a busy place. For me personally I have Daylan’s name and my cell and work phone number on the wristband.

Not only did they send me these great wristbands but they also send me over Label Out Loud Tag Mates which are the perfect label to put on your child clothing tags so that when they are at school it makes identifying their belongs that much easier. It never fails that every time I go to pick Daylan up his jacket is missing and of course he has no clue where it is and I am sent on a wild goose chase through the school looking for his jacket every single day. Getting these tags brings me so much hope that our never ending battle with losing clothing items will actually come to an end.

The nice people over at Mabel’s Labels will be giving away some Label Out Loud Tag Mates and the My 411 Wristbands to 2 lucky winners (you will receive one of each item).

Boogie Wipes: Save the Sleeve Review and Giveaway

I was recently sent a pack of Boogie wipes and a ton of different scented samples. When I first went into this review I thought “What’s this Boogie Wipe thing all about?” I honestly thought that they were nicely packaged baby wipes but I was proven wrong. After getting the Boogie Wipes I discovered that they were saline wipes (yeah the same stuff you spray in your little one’s noses when they are congested). Not only is this much easier than spraying saline mist into your child’s nose but they also come in a variety of scents that will entice your kids to want to use them versus spreading their little nose dropping all over the place.

Cooking Dinner My Way

So if you had the pleasure of reading my review of Dinner My Way I informed you all that I would be cooking for you all right here. So please take a minute and Check out Part 1 and Part 2 of Dinner My Way (Honey Hoisin Chicken) the final product is at the bottom of the videos. Enjoy.

What is Dinner My Way?

While at an event a few weekends ago I met the owners of Dinner My Way. What you may ask is Dinner My Way? Well let me tell you it is a company that preps the food for you and then freezes it. You then stop in and pick up your meal or have them deliver your meal. You take the meal and either put it in your freezer for later or leave it out to thaw completely. Once the meal has been completely thawed you cook it.

New Johnson's Natural's Products for Baby

I recently had the pleasure of reviewing the Johnson’s Natural Product Line. I have always been a big fan of Johnson’s products and they are the only thing that I have used on son since he was a born. I occasionally have the tendency to use them myself as well because they are very gentle and I have the tendency to break out from harsher soaps. When Daylan was about a year old I discovered that he had eczema and from then on I had been on the hunt for the perfect product to cleanse his hair, body and face what would not leave him broken out and as much as I loved the regular Johnson’s products I couldn’t use them on him as often so we did baths every other day. But now with the New Johnson’s Natural line I feel really good about giving his nightly bath and knowing that his skin won’t get to dried out.

Now if your child eczema I am sure that you are able to give your child a bath everyday without this worry but the Natural line would be good for your child as well. We as moms should always want to take the best care of our children’s skin and with this product you would be doing just that.

If you have not already watched the video above please due so I review each and every product in the line and how it worked for our family.

WAHMaholic Blog Designs

I am sure that you all have noticed the changes around here. I recently hired Kaye of WAHMaholic Blog Designs to redo my page and pull all of my ideas together. I just wanted to leave her a little love on my page and send lots of praises her way.

I would have to say that I am more then happy with the end result of my blog's design. I pretty much gave her a few ideas that I had and let her run with them. She not only had my new blog design up and running in just a few days but she was always available when I needed to ask her a question or to add some other new thing that I had just thought of. I was honestly amazed by how fast she would get back to me given the fact that she is located in the Philippines and there is a big time difference but she was on point every single time.

If you are looking to get your blog started or get a make over stop by and visit Kaye at WAHMaholic Blog Designs

What a Great Weekend at Wee Three Fall Event

I have been talking about the Wee Three Fall Event for awhile now and it finally came and went. I was so excited to be set up out there to help promote the blog even more. The event included a private sale on Friday and a public sale on Saturday. There were a ton of vendors from clothing to accessories filling the 9000 sq ft space located in the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts.

The day was a bit gloomy
because of the rain but that didn't stop those power mommy shoppers. I saw people with stacks and stacks of clothes. The prices were so good that people were truly stocking up. I even got in on some of the action because my little man needs clothes too.

Cafe Mom: Latte Land

Love Games? Play Latte Land!

I am guilty guilty guilty of playing all of the facebook games and being the mommy gamer that I am (I use that term loosely) I saw an ad for the Cafe Mom Latte Land game so I had to check it out and see what it was all about for myself.

I went I saw and I got addicted. I go in telling myself jut play for 30 mins and then move on and do something else a little more productive like the Accounting homework that I have due but then 30mins turns to an 1hr and then and hour turns to like 3hrs. I am obviously easily distracted but there is nothing wrong with a little distraction every now and then.

I figure most of you are nothing like me and won't be sucked in for 3hrs but it is still a nice break to play a just for mom game. If any of you are looking to head on over and check out Latte Land and Cafe Moms my screen name is MommyCoastie.

I guess I will see you all there...
