Update on My Juice Fast and Body Wrapping (9lbs down)

Tomato Juice in a glas, decorated with tomato ...Image via WikipediaLast time you all heard from me I was starting a juice fast and was doing a body wrap that involved wrapping my problem areas in plastic wrap.   So here is where I am with that so far (pictures are at the end).

I will start with how much I lost and then  I will move on to some of the things that I learned.  I lost 9lbs total which makes me so happy and even after I finished the juice fast and I didn't gain it all back which makes me very very happy.

Now I didn't make it the full week but I did make it 4 days which proved to be just the right amount of days for this type of fast.  The first day was the hardest but once I got over that hump I was good to go.  I woke up from day one feeling like I wanted to die but after I had my morning juice I felt great.  I actually never felt hungry during the entire fast because the juice contained fruits that were really filling but your mind is still use to food so you still crave all the things that you ate before but with willpower it is much easier to get over the hump.  Days 3 and 4 were not bad at all I looked forward to the juice and it really worked great.

I did learn that everything does not work in the juicer like bananas but it that was alright because what I did is juice all the fruits and veggies that juice well and then I transferred that juice to my blender with one banana and viola it was perfect and even more filling.

Along with doing the juice fast I was wrapping my body with the plastic wrap and the heating pad and blanket to sweat off some of the extra weight around my mid section.  My stomach has really liked this not to mention my skin feels great from using the vitamin E oil.  Now if you want to try the body wrap I do suggest doing it in accordance with either a juice fast or a low calorie diet and some exercise.

Duirng the last 2 days of my juice fast I went to the gym for 2 hrs in the morning and did 3 miles on the treadmill and also some strength training on our gyms Cybex machines. I also did a quick 20 min workout at night after I put Daylan down for the evening.

Since I have finished my juice fast I have changed up my diet to a low calorie diet with lots of vegetables, fish, poultry and whole grains.  I have felt great and think believe that I will actually reach my goal of 115 by February 18th.

I am so happy for you. I don't know if I could have done that juice fast. I'm currently trying the special K challenge and I am having a hard time with it. I have been drinking more water though. I'm sure you will make you goal. I'm crossing my finger about mine.

Wow amazing results! I couldnt do a juice diet, but am thinking of starting a low calorie diet and the body wrap, I know that you did multiple times a day, I dont have the time to do that, so wonder what results I'll get by using only once a day.

Mommy Glow...yea I was off work for two weeks so I was able to dedicate two weeks to it but now that I am going back to work I am just sticking with my low cal diet, workout routine and one body wrap at night. The juice diet was difficult at first but I think the fact that it was temporary thing made it easier to bear. I plan to do another one right before I go home in Feb.
