Tori Spelling: Balancing Motherhood and Business

Many of us know Tori Spelling from 90210, her Oxygen show Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, and her best selling memoirs, but she has a younger side to her. Aside from the fame, Spelling is also a mother of two and taking her business to small audiences. She has developed a clothing line for boys and girls and writes children’s books.
Spelling’s newest projects is her recently released her newest book Presenting… Tallulah. The book is about a little girl who grows up in a privileged household with many rules and restrictions. She dreams to be accepted by her classmates and find who she is meant to be.
Inspired by her children, Liam (3) and Stella (2), Spelling has a clothing line for children entitled Little Maven. The line infuses vibrant colors and prints resembling their home in Los Angeles, California. The clothing moves with children so they can play, be comfortable, and look chic.
Spelling’s clothing line is available in department and specialty stores across the country and online. The price for the Little Maven’s line ranges from $24-$88 for boys and girls. Sizes are available for girls 6/9 months and up to 6x and for boys 6/9 months to 4T.
When she is

not acting or managing one of her ventures she enjoys spending time with her kids. Spelling frequently tweets about her family and their daily activities. Like many working moms she struggles with balancing her career and home life along with having to travel without her family, according to her account. However, when she is home she makes the most of it with her children.
Spelling commonly cooks with her children to prepare treats for their class or dinner. She has been getting many requests for Liam nachos and other family recipes, she stated that she might write a cookbook.

Since her children are getting older and talking more, she developed a twitter account for her son devoted to some of his funny sayings.
What is next for the Tori Spelling Empire? According to a recent interview Spelling stated that she would like to make Tallulah into a series of books about her adventures.

She continued to say that she would love to see the books become an animated series. She is also incorporating Tallulah’s clothes into her Little Maven clothing line.
