I moved to California from Kansas about 8 months ago when I got married. I was so scared about coming to a new place not having anyone to care for my son when me and my husband needed a break to have an occasional date night. I scoured the internet looking for a site that compiled a nice list of people with references and resumes that I could possibly hire to watch my son once or twice a month.
I found more then I was looking for at Care.com's Care-on-Call service it was by far the easiest experience and I started interviewing people as soon as I arrived in California. I was lucky enough to find someone during the free introductory period so I never had to pay a dime and I found a great sitter.
Sarah entered our lives about a month after we arrived in California. I held the interview at Starbucks and to my surprise that is where she worked full time right across the street from our home. It was truly a match made in heaven she is so good with Daylan and he loves when Sarah come over to play with him.
